We're actively seeking an Agency Services Specialist to support the operational processes that enable accurate agency setup, maintenance, broker data changes, and contracting-related activities within the Workforce Benefits Division. This role is essential to ensuring timely, high-quality service for internal teams and external business partners while supporting agency onboarding, data integrity, and contracting workflows across multiple internal systems.

This position can be based in Newport Beach, CA; Omaha, NE; or Chattanooga, TN.


How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Process day-to-day production work related to agency hierarchy setup, updates, including new agency structures, changes (e.g. Broker of Record changes), and ongoing data upkeep within internal systems.

  • Support broker data and agency record maintenance, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned with operational requirements.

  • Facilitate and support contracting, licensing, and appointment activities, including validations and requirement reviews.

  • Monitor team production email inboxes and provide timely verbal and written responses to internal and external partners in accordance with established turnaround times.

  • Partner with lead consultant and distribution team to support agency onboarding efforts and ensure a smooth implementation experience.

  • Research, troubleshoot, and escalate issues related to hierarchy, broker data, contracting, licensing, and appointment workflows when appropriate.

  • Maintain contract templates and support version control to promote consistency and compliance in documentation practices.

The experience you bring:

  • 3-4 years of experience in group benefits insurance preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required.

  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance accuracy, speed, and service quality.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across internal teams and external business partners.

  • Ability to quickly learn, interpret, and implement new procedures and business requirements.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience with insurance broker data management and/or contracting, licensing, and appointments.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand operational complexity and cross functional impacts.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate confidently and respectfully with a wide range audiences.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$31.89 - $38.97
