Roles and Responsibilities: Design medium to large (L2/L3) LAN/WAN using IPv4/IPv6; implement routing and network security (TCP/IP, UDP); configure/administer routers/switches; create automation scripts (Python/PowerShell); create test bed topologies/procedures; set up networks across geographies; analyze/manage/mitigate risks on live networks; handle international clients and transitions. Primary Skills: 7+ years enterprise network engineering; deep knowledge of Layer 1-7 technologies/protocols; expertise with Cisco/Foundry/Brocade routing/switching (HW/SW config/troubleshooting); expert in MPLS; extensive hands-on with Cisco, Fortinet; excellent documentation (Visio/CAD); ticketing and NMS tools; experience with tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, ManageEngine OpManager, Dynatrace, FortiTester, Netalyzr, Traffic Emulator, Spiceworks, NetFlow Analyzer, SNMP tester, ActiveSync tester, AggreGate, PerfSONAR, Nmap, Wireshark, iperf3; NetOps/NetDevOps and IaC/NaC with automation (PHP-orchestrator, Python, Ansible).
